It's cat #3--Charlie. A pound puppy as Kim calls her--we found Charlie at an adoption fair sponsored by the Pawnee County Humane Society in June 2008. Two calicos under the same roof is not advisable! Charlie and Prisc compete for the title of Princess.

I watched Cathy Carrier's dad do weather on TV and never dreamed that I'd get to work with his daughter one day. I've known Cathy for over 10 years and she's truly one of my dear friends! It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one who has to get up so dogonne early!

This is our summer retreat in SW Colorado--the most peaceful place on Earth. Since 1977, this view has reminded me that as long as there's life, there is always hope.

My beloved 1983 Jeep Scrambler, bought new in '83 and today, only about 78,000 miles on it. It's an old friend. Kim and I took it on a jeeping-camping trip high in Colorado's San Juan mountains one summer!
